Adventure play Club
Every year, we are proud to offer our Adventure Play Club at The Yard, on weekdays from 2:40pm to 6pm. Young people spend their afternoons in the pursuit of their own self-directed play. Our Adventure Play Club offers the opportunity to play, create, build and explore with the support of our wonderful playworkers.
The Adventure Play Group is for elementary school students in grades 1 through 5. School/neighborhood pick-up is available where we can arrange a minimum number of young people.

Our Adventure Play Club has welcomed students from: Stephen Gaynor School, EVCS, Churchill, PS 03, PS 40, PS 87, PS150, PS 261, PS 234, PS 276, PS8, , the Lang school, Brooklyn Prospect Charter School, The Packer Collegiate Institute and more!

Adventure Play Club at The Yard
~2:40pm to 6pm (exact time depends on location of pick up and drop off)
Our trained playworkers will pick up young people at school dismissal and bring them to Governors Island via subway/bus and on the ferry. They will return with our playworkers, ready for pick up at arranged pick up points.

To ensure the well-being of all children, we regularly monitor forecasts from airnow.gov for zip code 10004. If elevated AQI levels are expected on a day when after-school programming is scheduled, we will either move the session indoors or, if necessary, notify families the evening before to cancel. Our priority is always to provide a safe and supportive environment for your children.
